The Black Book of Communism: Crimes, Terror, Repression (Afrikaans: Die Swart Boek van Kommunisme: Misdade, Terreur, Onderdrukking) is 'n boek deur Stéphane Courtois, Nicolas Werth, Andrzej Paczkowski en verskeie ander Europese akademici ^{[note 1]} wat in 1997 gepubliseer is. Die boek sit die geskiedenis van politieke onderdrukking deur Kommunistiese state uiteen, insluitend volksmoord, buitegeregtelike teregstellings, deportasies, die doodmaak van bevolkings in arbeidskampe en kunsmatig geskepte hongersnood. Die boek is oorspronklik in Frankryk gepubliseer as Le Livre noir du communisme: Crimes, terreur, répression deur Éditions Robert Laffont.

In die Verenigde State is dit gepubliseer deur Harvard University Press, ^[1]:217 met 'n voorwoord deur Martin Malia. Die Duitse uitgawe, gepubliseer deur Piper Verlag, bevat 'n hoofstuk geskryf deur Joachim Gauck. Die inleiding is geskryf deur Courtois.
